The Bingo S is the export-oriented evolution of WULING's Bingo hatchback line, built by SGMW — the SAIC–General Motors–Wuling joint venture based in Liuzhou, Guangxi. In its current export configurations it is a 4,090 mm class five-door hatchback on a 2,610 mm wheelbase, powered by a permanent-magnet synchronous motor driving through a 单速 (single-speed) reduction gearbox.

Three battery trims are typically quoted: a 333 km CLTC short-range version on a smaller LFP pack, a 401 km mid trim on 37.9 kWh, and a 510 km long-range trim on 50.6 kWh. All three use 电动 LFP (lithium iron phosphate) chemistry rather than NMC — a detail that matters far more in Khartoum or Riyadh than it does in Shanghai.
